Tanya S. Farkouh Martin
Background
Tanya Farkouh Martin was born and raised in the Northern Ontario community of Elliot Lake. Prior to entering law school, Tanya was the Assistant Coordinator of the Supervised Visitation and Exchange Program at the Niagara Child Development Centre in Welland, Ontario. While in law school, at the University of Windsor, Tanya assisted Dr. Julie McFarlane in her qualitative study regarding the 'Emerging Phenomenon of Collaborative Family Law.' Now residing in Sudbury, Tanya’s areas of practice include Family Law, Civil Litigation, Wills and Real Estate.

Professional and Community Involvement
Tanya is currently a member of the Supervised Access Program Advisory Committee at the Sudbury Child and Family Centre. Tanya is also a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario Bar Association, and the Sudbury and District Law Association. In addition, Tanya has been a mentor for secondary school students as they compete in the local Mock Trial competitions (2005-2008). |
