Claude F. Lacroix

Background
As a lifelong Sudburian, Claude graduated from Laurentian University and returned home after graduating from the faculty of law at l’Université de Moncton, in the province of New Brunswick.  Claude Lacroix is currently partner at Lacroix Forest LLP/s.r.l., and is fluently bilingual.  He practices in the areas of Civil litigation, Corporate/Commercial disputes, Construction law, Health and Safety Compliance, Real Estate and Commercial liability claims.  He has developed a special interest in providing legal services and advice to mining, civil and mechanical contractors.

Professional and Community Involvement
Claude actively participates and contributes on a number of community boards, Not-For Profit agencies and professional organizations.  Claude is currently an executive member of the Laurentian University Board of Governors and is the Past President of the Laurentian University Alumni Association and the Sudbury District Law Association.  In addition, Claude is an executive Member and Director of the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation and is a Director of the Sudbury Airport Community Development  Corporation.  He is a past legal panel member of the Canada Pension Plans Appeals Review Tribunal and is the North-Eastern Ontario director of the Association of French speaking Lawyers of Ontario.  Over the past several years, Claude has also been the Bar representative and mentor for secondary school students as they compete in the local  Mock Trial competitions.
